I have a couple friends who are amazing writers, and I was privileged to get to have S. read to me from the book she is finishing. Love that book. I will be the first one to get a copy. She came and read to me while I doodled.

There was a chalk art festival in Bountiful recently and my sister was awesome enough to help me out. It was very fun. She is hilarious.
Since the Star Trek movie was coming out that day, she picked a trekker theme and we made some pretty spacey chalk art.

And as we brainstormed, I couldn't help messing around. If you don't get the picture, you are missing out on whales saving the planet. Star Trek is cool, yo.

I am trying to add story to a few of my lifeless designs. I am trying to figure out what to do with this army horse. I like the design... but nothing is going on. So I tried sticking some things on his back. These two ideas were my favorites, but nothing so far has really bitten.

I just sent off the story test to Dreamworks. *sigh* All done. Still don't know if I am allowed to use those boards, but I am sure I can use this.
One of my alternate ideas for my Shrek boards was to have Ninjabread men. Watch out, they know the art of Gin-jitsu!

I will start posting again on the first of December, but I am going to be trying something different. I am going to be doing an "Advent Calendar" for myself, meaning, something new for a different project every day.
So I will be putting up a page a day for a book I am compiling called "Cathedrals". There are twenty three pages, so it will be just about right.
I encourage others to do an advent as well. I did it last year and it is a good way to end the year with a bang.

This is Zansuk and Tafa. I need to redraw his hands, I just gave up. But I have drawn this bunny cat quite a bit. And the reason she is freaked out is because she was being attacked by wild chickens. Ok, so they were tame chickens.
