This kitty was hiding in a car next to our apartment. He was yowling his head off and followed us around for a bit. He was so silly with those big ears and his rough fur. I wanted to keep him.

I made a little clay figure of this guy with some friends for fun. (Yes, you can laugh at my sculpting skills, but I thought it was way fun!) and I decided to draw him playing around.

I like fluffy cats. Their paws look so small when they poke out of all of that fluff. And when they streeeetch... it looks like they are just warming up for a ballet.

The US is going to the World Cup! They just beat Puerto Rico, booya! And Mexico won recently as well!
The problem will be if they ever play each other - family life might get a little tense for a while... (snort)

I have a couple friends who are amazing writers, and I was privileged to get to have S. read to me from the book she is finishing. Love that book. I will be the first one to get a copy. She came and read to me while I doodled.

There was a chalk art festival in Bountiful recently and my sister was awesome enough to help me out. It was very fun. She is hilarious.
Since the Star Trek movie was coming out that day, she picked a trekker theme and we made some pretty spacey chalk art.


And as we brainstormed, I couldn't help messing around. If you don't get the picture, you are missing out on whales saving the planet. Star Trek is cool, yo.
